On the 26th, the First Congress of China Advanced Rubber Industry Alliance and the National Defense Rubber Theory, held in Beijing, passed and reviewed the related work report and action outline of the alliance, and elected the first council, marking that China Advanced Rubber Industry Alliance is about to enter the practical operation stage.

It is reported that about 70 experts, scholars and leaders and representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Industry and Information, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Defense Bureau of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, the China Institute of High-tech Industrialization, the China Natural Rubber Association, the China Rubber Industry Association and the relevant military units (departments) participated in the meeting. The meeting adopted the report on the preparatory work of China Advanced Rubber Industry Alliance, considered the Outline of Action of China Advanced Rubber Industry Alliance, and elected the first Council of China Advanced Rubber Industry Alliance. Liu Dawei, president of Hainan Natural Rubber Industry Group Co., Ltd., was elected as chairman of China Advanced Rubber Industry Alliance and vice-chairman of the Research Institute of Tsinghua University.

It is understood that the China Advanced Rubber Industry Alliance is guided by the national strategy and the needs of China's rubber industry, aiming at safeguarding national defense security and enhancing the core competitiveness of China's rubber industry, based on the development needs of member enterprises and the common interests of all parties, and guaranteed by legally binding contracts, and around the Chinese rubber industry chain, it organizes enterprises, universities and scientific research institutions. Technical cooperation should be carried out to break through the technological bottleneck in the development of China's rubber industry, and a mechanism of joint development, complementary advantages, benefit sharing and risk sharing should be established to pool resources and jointly promote the development of China's rubber industry.

The alliance is a pan-civil, cross-border, non-profit social organization, sponsored by Hainan Natural Rubber Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Tsinghua University. It is voluntarily composed of well-known enterprises, universities and research institutes engaged in rubber production, research and application in China. It is part of the China High-tech Industrialization Research Association (hereinafter referred to as "China High-tech Association"), and it is also a vital part of the China High-tech Association. The important foundation of the campaign is an important force for safeguarding national defense security and promoting the development of China's advanced rubber industry.

The conference also invited the leaders of the relevant departments and bureaus of the state, the army, the Hainan provincial departments and departments, academicians, experts and experts of natural rubber and polymer materials in China to focus on the role and status of the new normal natural rubber in the national economy and national defense construction, and establish the national core rubber plantation to ensure the independent supply of strategic materials and safeguard national security. Some important issues, such as innovation of natural rubber industry, were discussed and exchanged.
