Longsheng High Performance Elastomer Business has recently raised the prices of synthetic rubber in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Effective from June 1, 2015, the specific adjustments are as follows: Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) increased by 100 euros per ton; Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) increased by 90 euros per ton; and chloroprene rubber (CR) increased by 100 euros per ton.

Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) is a Keltan brand product, which is used in the production of door sealants, hoses, belts and anti-vibration parts of automobiles. The product can also be used for plastic modification, wire and cable, building and oil additives.

NBR is a product of Perbunan, Krynac and Baymod N brands. It is used for sealing rings, hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and rubber drums.

Neoprene rubber is a product of Baypren brand, which is used for cable sheath, hose, belt and air spring.
